Green To Go!

The Go Green Lunch Club has partnered with Green To Go to introduce innovative, waste-free lunch products this school year.  These products make packing trash-less lunches a snap!  They will help to reduce our lunch-time waste and save you money on unnecessary disposable products.  Best of all, a portion of each purchase will be donated to the RSF GO GREEN CLUB!

Let's encourage our children to reduce and reuse, starting at home in the kitchen.  By packing reusable sandwich bags and containers and using zero trash lunch kits, less money will be spent on expensive prepackaged foods and disposable lunch products.  And most importantly, by eliminating juice pouches, plastic baggies and individually wrapped foods, we'll keep our school, streets and oceans clean, and lessen the burden on our landfills by eliminating mountains of extra waste.

To order please go to the Green To GO website http://www.greentogolunchware.com/RSF-GO-GREEN-CLUB-FUNDRAISER-ITEMS_c_21.html and click on the RSF GO GREEN CLUB link on the left side of the page.

Month by Month Curriculum Plans for 2011-2012

Many of you have seen the monthly curriulum plans posted in your child's classroom window.  These are now available for you as parents to view or download.  The next time you ask your child what they are working on in school and get the reply "nothing," you will know better!  Hopefully this information allows you to initiate a conversation with your child and better understand the concepts and topics covered at each grade level.
